Our day

Today was our I-boy six and I-girls workshops which started at 10am and finished up just after 3pm

It was a real treat for me to be a support helper instead of the instructor and so neat to watch another person working with the students - I always learn something new and to get a chance to see things from a different perspective is always a great opportunity.

We started the day with Physical Education starting into our floor hockey unit and then we had an early snack.
The two sessions ran from 10-12 and from 12:45-3pm

The topics covered included: self esteem, media literacy, messages in media advertising, healthy relationships, being assertive, digital safety, role play in assertiveness training, learning to say no, games and  cooperative activities. The workshops were gender separate and both groups seemed to have a good day.
Nice way to start the week.
Have a good night.
Mrs. J.
