I'm having a few issues with the program for the blog- I can't seem to edit it at all and I know it is because I have probably hit something inadvertently...better get one of my techie students to help me out!! I have reverted to HTML and BTW I have no idea what that means- it is just I have discovered if I use the HTML button that I can mess up and edit without any issues. But it all saves as one BIG paragraph which is not reader friendly. Tomorrow Mr. Parker and I will be meeting our students for the combined classes in the morning after tonight's finalization of numbers and balance of bodies. It looks like classes of 26 or 27 so the good news is that the English upper intermediate program has grown a bit. We had another good 'holding' day managing to keep the students busy and engaged with activites that covered: language arts, math, socials studies and phys. Ed. We could visibly see by Phys. Ed. time that the students were becoming tired and their energy was waning. Even I felt the burn after running the football field with them! I have sent the math7 parent information home- did my best to remind them to actually take it tonight. Planners are $10 and are now available. Obvious areas for improvement thus far: stamina, self regulation and listening. Yes, we are back to school! more tomorrow... Mrs. J.
