Back to school September 3rd

Started back today for the 2013-2014 school year. Day one is always full of excitement and anticipation on the part of everyone invloved including parents and teachers!!

Today we had a head count morning and the students attended for an hopur to allow us to figure out who is returning, not returning and who will be joining us for the year. The morning assembly welcomed approx. 400 students in the English and French Immersion programs. Lots of bodies :)

I am excited to be able to work with Mr. Parker this year to get the grade sevens up and running in the math program in particular. He and I are sharing the group , welcoming the new students and generally getting us iff to a great start before Friday.
Friday will be the first day of the Grade 6/7 class for the school year.

Today was meeting and planning and getting back into the swing of setting up for a new school year.
Looking forward to working together...
Mrs. J.

P.S. For some reason I am unable to edit my post- so forgive the spelling of the word 'hour' above- I was unable to go back and edit but can typoe forward- weird, huh? Between that and fighting with the photocopier my welcome back to technology (and not even new technology) is not exactly smooth sailing so it can only get better!
