Happy 16th Birthday to my son- hope you did okay on your math 10 exam
Cannot believe that it had nearly been one whole week since the last posting!!
Friday was sports day and I was too exhausted to post on the blog.
Monday and Tuesday I was at a pro-d opportunity Kagan Cooperaive Learning
so this is actually my first day back in class since last week!
Thanks to my TOC Mrs. D.
- great job and at such a challenging time of year. I owe you one.
Today is the final band concert at the Eagle Eye community theatre- such a treat getting a real theatre space- it is a big deal. So, don't miss out
7pm tonight come hear outr grade 6/7 students play their hearts out- they sounded pretty good at practice this afternoon.
Our day... Greek and Roman Newspaper production time- placing together and organizing presentation of the papers. We have chart paper, scrolls, folded over styles, poster board and some are madly staining white paper with tea for that authentic look. One group had to be set free as 'freelance' journalists due to the issues with the 'group' not pulling together for each other. It happens sometimes.
Math computer session for Spend a Million projects - many students are really getting excited about their purchases and ideas, a couple of others are being typically silly about thnigs and there is alway one who can't see the point (I'm working on it!).
We used our Wednesday computer session for the project.
Eagle Eye Theatre 1:15 after lunch to 2:30pm
Final year end Band concert
Back in class we used some time for art or the missed reading time
Dismissal
day was a fast one but the whole week since I last posted has been like a snap!
Off to try to celebrate a birthday dinner, see a concert at 7pm and complete the report cards!! They are due tomorrow.
This time of year makes me feel kind of frantic.
See everyone to noight at the concert
Mrs. J.
