Computer session for Socials Brochures virtual tour of Greece)
Grade 6/7 Spelling Bee- we went 20 rounds and have boiled the spellers extraordinaire to 3rd place Teresa (Gr. 6) and the top two who are still battling it out (we are now using the Can Spell vocabulary) Nic and Harjot.
Art/poster / brochure time in class as the lab was being used- the computer lab is in great demand currently. More time is booked for the class tomorrow.
Math 7 Calculating volume of rectangular prisms and introduction to Surface area. Review all fomula learned so far for perimeter and srea.
Finished up with a set of general problems putting together all the recent understanding on angles and lines.
Approx. 10 students re-wrote the Angles and Lines quiz from Tuesday.
Silent reading
Congratulations to Roshni and TJ who both were May and June winners of a free Scholastic choice from the June flyer
French returned the recent quiz (one on clothing and another on the verb Etre)
We reviewed the answers and together did some translation of the french sentences.
