Spelling practice for tomorrow's test

French (thought I'd fit it in before socials/language arts)

choosing the correct pronoun and verb ending in a selection of sentences

Socials Virtual tour Day 4 today we went on a day cruise to the islands of the Saronic Gulf: Aegina, Poros and Hydra

Math 7 started the booklet for the angle relationships in parallel lines. I love geometry- it so predictable when you know angles and lines. The students enjoyed using protractors today- I need to give a quick review of the use of a circular protractor but all in all it was a great class.

Silent Reading

Personal Planning follow up to the activity last week about gender stereotyping and perceptions of the advantages/disadvantages of growing up male or female. We completed a Venn diagram that showed hands down that the majority of the socio-emotional and physical changes of puberty happen to both male and female genders.

Phys Ed.
split gym:  floor hockey or basketball
good sportsmanship and participation

back in class used the overhead to complete the personal planning lesson with a 'cumulative' review of the last few lessons and took the opportunity to answer some of the students' questions from their Q&A box which were relevant to the lesson.
