Sometimes it is easy to forget that the majority of students are doing as they are asked or expected to because they get lost in the wake of the four or five who are being continually disruptive. I tried a brain break game but even that was not enough to get the students who couldn't (or wouldn't) cooperate to make an effort this afternoon.
Homework is mainly OVERDUE assignments that were not completed this weekend. I appreciate the students who came to let me know how busy their weekend was and that they'll get the work in tomorrow. Thank-you I appreciate your honesty and sometimes we all have a weekend like that so I understand.
