Oh Boy... need to get this Blog up to date after our crazy week of performance demands and Fridays late night.
I must apologize to everyone about the hiatus since Wednesday of last week- I'll get with the program again!!
Last Thursday morning (April 16th) we had a rehearsal with the whole school and it was the logistical organization of both the primary and intermediate groups on the stage at the same time that took time and patience. The singing of the songs were certainly more polished and audible and students seemed to be more comfortable with the informal choreography.
On Friday (April 17th) the Dream band arrived and the dress rehearsal for the evening's performance went ahead. A great deal of effort and time went into all things Voices of Nature and the students pulled off a great and successful performance on Friday evening. Thank-you to all of you who took the time to come and enjoy it.
Thank-you to the grade seven students who took a leadership role in the concert and during the evening on Friday. Thanks to your efforts, we manged to sell the rest of the Purdy's pops and made some small takings on the coffee!!
The spelling test (unit 23) was put off until today. Our 'virtual filedtrip' to Greece is at the Day 4 journey to the Saronic Gulf Islands.
I was not at school today but will post in tomorrow's blog whether there was any 'leftover' work that didn't get completed in class today. There is possibly be some science and math (maybe even French) need to be finished.
