Man sometimes I hate technology- I just spent half an hour on a post for today only to sign off and have only the date show up on the Blog. Ahrrg!

8 students owe a socials report - last Thursday was the deadline and tomorrow is the cut off as I would like to get the chance to assess them this long weekend
Spelling tests for both groups tomorrow ( just so many students away this week)

Hoodie orders overdue- we are closer to a colour consensus but not quite completed the process to be fair for all 72 grade sevens (productive focus group meeting today but just need to have one more meeting to ensure representation)

Our day
Daily French- I am now challenging the students to write the daily French message in the mornings
SRA reading program. Another two students have managed to reach the top level and are now on the independent book report activity

Extended write FSA session today including a number of students catching up on missed sections

Took a bit to get settled but once there, things were great
Phys Ed basketball 4 minute whole court basketball scrimmages- class split into two halves with 4 team rotations. Students seems to have fun but we did need to review some game and FairPlay 'violations'. It is so difficult to provide constructive criticism when some students take things so personally!! I made a valiant effort to provide the positive with the constructive but...
