Quick one tonight- I was at the school board office this afternoon for an assessment workshop and haven't returned to school.
Morning was interesting- the students at least ate their candy at snack and lunch break!! Better- yes!!!???
One student said thoughtfully- what do you expect we ahve to get rid of it somehow (as they swapped and shared) lol
Homework reminder for tomorrow
Chapter 2 Socials test tomorrow
Study your ch 2 socials pre-test - the same questions will be asked on the test tomorrow
this is the only new homework for this evening (that is IF everything else is completed)
Morning activities
a reading record sheet was distrubuted for DEAR time for the month of November- we discussed how to use it and started by recording Monday's reading.
the 'gift' of a half hour before Music was offered to all students- some used it to get themselves better organized, some to complette incomplete or missed assignments and others had a chance to read
Music
Math- introduction to the concept and quadrants (vocabulary) of a Cartesien graph
Family Groups - grade sevens did a super job meeting, greeting and looking after the grade ones and bringing them to our first meeting.
I'll report on the afternoon when I get the TOC's feedback. Meanwhile, have a nice evening in the sunshine
