Wet Wednesday

I can't believe this but I just sat and typed up a brilliant blog and one press of a wrong button and it is gone- disappeared- nothing. WAAAHHH.

So this one will be a quick re-cap of what I just spent 40 minutes doing (and losing) and maybe it will be all you need!!! Sometimes I HATE technology- it is supposed to save us time darn it!!!

Mythology time to complete the assignments for performance tomorrow

Science- physical and chemical changes- can you turn your teacher back into a human being after she spontaneously combusts after hitting the wrong key on the computer?

Math reteach concepts of geometry- finding the missing angles using properties of angle and lines created by parallell and transversals/retest tomorrow

Shot put in the rain at lunch

after an introduction to the paramenters of the Humanities project (Greece and Rome), the students were afforded some time to work on their mythology activities (apparently I said they could this morning) most used the time available wisely others not so much!!!

Socials was abandoned due to the difficulty of attention from the class so we abandoned the virtual tour of Greece at Olympia and I tried an active game called Take a Stand. It was difficult for the students to do anything quietly today and I was beginning to get impatient and cranky!!
I'll follow the game intention up with the students later.
