Wicked Wednesday!!

Well, the boy's tied their basketball game and shared the 'controversy' about the points. We are proud of their effort and result and want them to focus on their teamwork instead of the 'drama'. Sometimes things aren't always fair but I do remember some words of wisdom from the tall basketball player, whathisface?, oh yeah, Michael Jordan (I guess all basketball players are tall!!!) anyway, he once said that he learned more from games that he lost than the ones he won.
In sports 'failure' is a necessary part of growth. Our boy's managed to hold on the the tie despite the controversy. Be proud.

Today was D-Day for the main section of the socials report and despite the fact that there were a number of students absent, a majority of students presented some very detailed and amazing content in their research studies. I was truly impressed with their work. Two students handed in the whole thing early and the quality of their work was excellent. They both allowed me to display and share their work with their peers.
Thank-you to all parents who have had to nag and remind their sons and daughters about getting the project done- it will soon be over :)
