now that the socials project is in, there willl be new focus next week and FSA needs to be completed.
General Day
FSA section paragraph writing- reading comprehension
Science plate tectonics- plates and convergence/divergence
Group activity (Divergent thinking) Create and market a candy bar complete with logo, slogan, ingredients, nutritional values, price point and intended market niche
Some are very 'creative' others a little strange but I did ask them to think out of the box (and chose their own groups!!)
DEAR time - very good today - always a couple who refuse to read
Computers kidshealth.org ( have also suggested about.com/teen advice) to follow up our personal planning lessons
finished off the day with the posters and adverts for the 'candy bar' products- lots of high spirits
Boys had a basketball practice.
I have lots of marking to do.
