FYI
Have decided to cancel the science test tomorrow as there are so many away (10 today). It will be rescheduled for next week.
Tomorrow some students are planning on dressing up- some not- I will leave it as an open invitation. The only stipulation on costumes at school is no fake weapons. Thanks for understanding. We will be watching a movie and celebrating (eating in the afternoon) - I will provide hot chocolate for everyone.
Day in general
- Managed another couple of chapters of Word Nerd our read aloud novel :)
- did test unit 6 for spelling
- music with Mrs. McPhee this morning
- more practice and advancement of using the rules of BEDMAS in mathematics-challenging the students with use of decimal (fractions) numbers
- Phys. Ed. in the undercover area with Mr. Parker this afternoon
- For Science, using the text, we worked in partners to find textual information that we have been reading and discussing recently - we'll continue that activity tomorrow.
- Rounded out the day with a bit of organization and another chapter of our read aloud.
