Today was the last day of Mrs. Kubin's practicum. Tomorrow she is headed back to SFU to complete her coursework and by September she will be a professional teacher :)
We had a busy and different kind of day which was fun for everyone (I hope) Mrs. Kubin shared her individual memories of the students in our community circle and the students responded with their card (BIG CARD), their poems, drawings, music, lyrics dance moves and gifts for her TOC bag. A talented crew to say the least.
In memory of our museum trip in December, we watched Night at the Museum and it was just great to hear the students laugh.
In the afternoon we shared cake and Dr. Pepper floats, completed the movie and finshed up with some free time outside in the sun.
Needless to say - no homework but many reminders
The FSA results were sent home today- if you have any questions please let me know and I will do my best to answer them. The results are not used for report card evaluation but are intended to be a snapshot of skills.

See you all tomorrow. It will take us a while to get used to class without Mrs. Kubin but let's be brave :)
