Our Day

Daily French - high frequency words and phrases including day, month, date, weather and introducing new vocabulary

Spelling prep (Unit 2 redo and 3 for Friday)

multiple meaning words review of functions of words and parts of speech in sentences

the rest of the morning (until math at 11) the students worked diligently on their haunted house designs and managed to have some time to create and draw and colour instead of squeezing it into the end of the day art time

during that time Mrs. Dawson and I helped get some students properly organized with paper(s) and a good desk tidy!!

an introduction to the curriculum for the year ahead Peer pressure is our first unit of discussion and consideration of how it can play a huge role in day to day relationships and bullying but also how it can also be a good thing to have positive peer pressure.

I talked too long (I never mean to but the students were - okay, seemed to be enjoying the speil - some were working on their haunted houses meanwhile.)
