Wednesday, April 10th

Glad to see the sun even if it is later in the day- this morning was difficult to get any energy going. I have been suffering with a heavy cold that has managed to lodge itself deep in my chest- I was away yesterday and back today.

Thanks to Mrs. Drew my TOC yesterday. I do feel a bit better for taking the day to rest.

Just finished (4:10pm) a small group math tutoring session with six grade seven students who stayed after school for a quick review and some activites on balancing equations. It was a nice size of group and everyone seemed to  understand the concept of isolating the variable and making sure to balance both sides before solving. We did one and two step equations. The students have requested adding and subtracting integers next week.

Using this knowledge we worked on finding the missing angles in a variety of lines and transversals.

Hannah M. and a few other gilrs stayed back in class to put a new seating plan into effect. Thanks for the plan and the organization- great job.

Some students went to lend Ms. Sorban a hand with the primary music class

Meanwhile we put the new seating plan into practice and decided that we all deserveda 20 minute free time session: some played checkers, some read, others did art, and a few even worked on completing  their science review!

Clean up and dismissal. The day went fast!
Hope evryone has a great night.
