Science looking at atoms and the parts of an atom- nucleus and electrons.
DNA the double helix of deoxyribonucleic acid and the basics of how it can be used as a forensic tool for solving crimes.
We looked at some samples that patterened the DNA allowing us to see which patterns matched the 'crime scene' and helped us to determine who the culprit was.
Just before recess break I was able to show the video from Karma Tube about the little team (petite equipe) who never score but love the game of soccer and are passionate about playing. One of the little boys simply says we'll score when we are older.

Art - trying madly to get the students to complete their projects for display April 18th and mentors from HSSS to complete the day and our week.
Hope everyone has a nice weekend. It is soccer wind-up weekend so I'll probably see everyone on Sunday.
Wish me luck- root canal on Saturday :( Wahhhh
